Give Me Patience, and I Mean NOW

This popped up on Norden's site today. It's "Patience 1898" from Hands to Work. Nice type, nice border, cute bunny.
And while we're on the subject of patience..... A non-stitching friend (yes, I have a few) was visiting the new Studio and after admiring some of the models remarked that she would never have the patience to do needlework. In my opinion XS is ideal for the impatient types like me. It keeps you sitting down, helps with paying closer attention to other things (music, tv, books on tape, conversation, etc.), and rewards you long term, not short term.
OK, so I'm preaching to the choir here, but I'd been meaning to blog about patience and this chart gave me the perfect excuse.
One more on the subject:

It does test your sense of productivity! I had some friends over for a pre-Christmas craft afternoon once...by the end of two hours, one had finished adorning a 6-foot long garland to put on her mantle, another had dried a sackful of pine cones in the oven and glitterized them, another had finished two felt kiddy books with appliques on each page. I had sorted threads, found the center of my material, and stitched about 1/2" square. Fortunately no one was judging on sheer volume ;-)
