1985 Called, and They Want Their Cross Stitch Back!

Um, the latest releases from Hoffman's seem a bit retro, and not in a good way. I'm sure this is just the usual drought that comes a month before the Nashville releases, but these designs are bland, boring, overly cute, and juvenile. Sigh.

I'm not dissing Hoffman's here, they sell what the designers give them to sell.

That said, I like, and will be stocking: this, this, and this. And this (released in December) is one I'm itching to start on, like NOW.

Meanwhile, here are a few things I finished in 2005:

• Silver Hearts & Stitches from Mosey N Me (though I changed mine to pink & white)
• Spanish Geometrical Sampler from The Needle's Content (yay, a top seller!)

Finally, will somebody please stop me before I kit up Skeleton Crew, which has been er, haunting me for weeks now!
